With a robust foundation from IHM Mumbai and Delhi University (2004–05), Dietitian Ujjwala has achieved significant milestones in her career. She is a decorated professional, winning prestigious cookery contests, including 1st Prize in Tarla Dalal’s Cookery Contest and multiple awards in inter-collegiate and national-level competitions.
Her professional journey spans over a decade of diverse experiences in India and Singapore. As Chief Dietitian at K.J. Somaiya Hospital, she managed a 500-bed facility, introducing innovative practices like blenderized feeds for enteral patients and creating customized diets for autistic children. Her tenure as Research Dietitian at B.Y.L. Nair Hospital involved pivotal studies on obesity and diabetes, contributing valuable insights to medical nutrition therapy.
In private practice, Ujjwala founded Poshan – Cure Thru Diet, a healthcare company bridging Mumbai and Singapore, and BLOOM, a health-centric e-magazine launched in 2017. She actively promotes health and wellness as a Singapore Health Promotion Board Ambassador and a member of esteemed organizations such as the Indian Dietetics Association and Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association.
Her expertise extends to sports nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and community education, underlined by her accreditation and continuous dedication to professional growth.
